They were among the earliest Italian immigrants to Sarnia. This identification card for Antonio Astolfi and daughters Lucia and Julia, was given by the Consul of the United States.

The photograph was donated by Antonio Astolfi for the historical project of 1988-1991. The project was a physical pictorial exhibit realized by the Italo-Canadian Cultural Club of Sarnia-Lambton in 1989. The collection was expanded for the publication of "One by One...Passo dopo passo... History of the Italian Community in Sarnia-Lambton" in 1991.

Rights

The photograph was collected c.1988 to 1990. The rights were given by the Astolfi family to the Italo-Canadian Cultural Club of Sarnia-Lambton. In 2016 the rights of this collection was transferred to Italian-Canadian Archives Project (ICAP).
