This was derived from microfilm of the local Sarnia paper, found in the Sarnia Public Library. It was found by high school students who volunteered to assist with the historical project of 1988-1991. The project was a physical pictorial exhibit realized by the Italo-Canadian Cultural Club of Sarnia-Lambton in 1989. The collection was expanded for the publication of "One by One...Passo dopo passo... History of the Italian Community in Sarnia-Lambton" in 1991.
