St. Peter's Catholic Church, Sarnia: St. Francis Cabrini Italian Catholic Women's League

From left to right Letizia Iacobelli, Lea Rocco, Antonietta Rocca. These Italian women were core members of the Italian group of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Women's League of St. Peter's Church, Sarnia. They were excellent cooks and would prepare food, as volunteers, when special functions were held in the church basement.

The photograph was donated by St. Peter's Church, Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, for the historical project of 1988-1991. The project was a physical pictorial exhibit realized by the Italo-Canadian Cultural Club of Sarnia-Lambton in 1989. The collection was expanded for the publication of "One by One...Passo dopo passo... History of the Italian Community in Sarnia-Lambton" in 1991.

The photograph was collected c.1988 to 1990. The rights were given be the representative of St. Peter's Church to the Italo-Canadian Cultural Club of Sarnia-Lambton. In 2016 the rights of this collection was transferred to Italian-Canadian Archives Project (ICAP).
